Video Interviews of School Staff and Students
Enfield Middle School Staff is continuously evolving. Last year long term substitutes made up the majority of the staff. This school year we are fully staffed with certified teachers in all classes expect our Exceptional Children's Department. In our EC department, we have 1 certified teacher and 2 returning long term substitutes that worked with the students last year. In our core classes, 50% of our teachers are veterans. The links below are of video interviews of participating staff that ask the following reflective questions:
- What is the greatest asset of this school?
- What are the school’s greatest accomplishments over the last several years?
- What is the greatest challenge of this school?
- How can I help? What do you see as my role (or a leader’s role)?

Enfield North Carolina is the oldest town in Halifax County. It is a rural community that is wealthy in farmland and has a deep history in agriculture. Even though it is a rural community, Enfield is easily accessible 5 miles from I-95. In 2013 the estimated median per household income was $21,952. The population at that time was 2,480. As Enfield is a small area, it has many resources that our school could potentially create partnerships with. The video below will highlight some of the community assets available to our students, staff, and parents of Enfield Middle School. Some benefits of community partnerships that could be created consist of the following:
- Relationships
- Academic tutors
- Supplies and resources for students and staff
- Uniforms Closet
- Incentives for staff and students
- Hands on activities that align with our curriculum
- Support services (counseling, resume workshops, health awareness, etc.)
- Potential Career Opportunities
- Weekend Food Pack
- Grant Writing Opportunities
